Pingstar is a UK-based business supplying NFC "tap-to-review" cards to businesses. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller responsible for your personal information.
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:
We only use your information where the law allows us to. In practice, that means:
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. When you pay us, your card details are handled directly by Stripe and we never see or store your full card number. You can read how Stripe handles data in its privacy policy at stripe.com/gb/privacy.
We do not sell your information, and we keep sharing to a minimum. We may share it with trusted providers who help us run the business, including Stripe for processing payments, our website host, and the email and productivity tools we use to manage orders and correspondence. We may also share information where we are required to by law.
We keep your information only for as long as we need it. Records relating to orders and payments are kept for at least six years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Other contact details are kept while you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, ask us to delete it where there is no reason for us to keep it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time where we relied on consent. To exercise any of these, just contact us using the details below.
Our website keeps cookie use to a minimum and uses only what is needed for the site to work properly. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your agreement first.
We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
